Best Turmeric Supplement UK: 5 Options Compared (2026)

Compare five turmeric formulas by ingredients, serving size and one-time purchase cost—including Eureka TurMax. A practical UK buying guide, with sources and clear trade-offs.

Read the guide →

UK supplement buying guide · Updated 27 October 2026

The best turmeric supplement for you depends on the formula you want, the number of capsules you are comfortable taking and what you want to spend. A big number on the bottle answers only one of those questions. This guide compares five options available to UK shoppers, including our own TurMax.

About this comparison: Eureka Wellbeing sells TurMax. We reviewed the manufacturers’ published information; we have not independently tested these products. The order below is not an efficacy ranking.

Five turmeric supplements at a glance

These are single-pack, one-time purchase prices checked on 27 October 2026. Delivery charges, introductory promotions and subscriptions are excluded. Cost per day is a calculation using the published serving, not a recommended dose for you.

One-time purchase comparison
ProductPack / pricePublished daily servingDays / cost per day
Eureka TurMax60 capsules / £31.742 capsules*30 / £1.06
VitaBright Organic Turmeric120 capsules / £14.992 capsules60 / £0.25
Purolabs Puro Turmeric60 capsules / £29.992 capsules30 / £1.00

FutureYou Turmeric+ Gold28 capsules / £29.001–2 capsules14–28 / £1.04–£2.07

*TurMax’s calculation uses the two-capsule serving in the published product information. Check your current packaging for directions. Its 120-capsule option is £63.48, equivalent to 60 days at that serving and the same daily cost. Prices can change.

What to compare before buying

Read the serving, then the amount

Compare the quantity for the same number of daily servings. A figure for two capsules cannot be compared directly with a figure for one. Keep the manufacturer’s terms intact: turmeric powder, extract, whole-root equivalent, curcumin and curcuminoids are different entries on a label. Do not combine them into a single “strength” score.

Choose the formula, not just the headline

Decide whether you want a botanical combination, an added vitamin, or a particular delivery system. Then read the full ingredient list, including the capsule shell. More ingredients do not automatically make a formula better, and a shorter list does not establish that it will suit you.

Compare the whole purchase

Check the daily cost, delivery charge and return conditions together. A larger pack can reduce how often you reorder without reducing the price per serving. A guarantee gives you a purchasing option; it is not evidence of a health outcome.

Five formulas explained

1. Eureka TurMax — turmeric with rosehip and vitamin C

TurMax brings turmeric, rosehip extract, black pepper and vitamin C together in capsule form. The published two-capsule panel lists 500mg turmeric material, 160mg rosehip extract, 84mg vitamin C and 5mg black pepper extract. The ingredient list also includes rice flour and a cellulose capsule.

Consider it if: you want rosehip and vitamin C alongside turmeric in one formula, with a choice of 60 or 120 capsules. Eureka offers a 60-day money-back guarantee, including opened products.

Keep in mind: it is not the lowest daily-cost option here. Our existing information uses inconsistent powder/extract terminology, so we have not converted its turmeric quantity into a curcuminoid ranking. Explore TurMax and its ingredients.

2. VitaBright Organic Turmeric — a whole-root option

VitaBright’s two-capsule serving lists 1,320mg turmeric, 100mg ginger and 20mg black pepper. Its formula uses whole turmeric powder in a cellulose capsule. The brand describes the ingredients as organic.

Consider it if: you prefer a whole-root formula and a lower daily purchase cost. The 120-capsule bottle provides 60 servings at the published directions.

Keep in mind: the turmeric quantity is not a declared amount of curcumin. We have not estimated one from a general percentage. Check VitaBright’s current product information.

3. Purolabs Puro Turmeric — a quantified extract blend

Puro Turmeric’s label declares 600mg turmeric extract providing 570mg curcuminoids per two capsules, alongside 80mg ginger and 10mg black pepper. Its full list also identifies rice-derived ingredients, bamboo silica and a cellulose capsule.

Consider it if: you want an extract with a stated curcuminoid amount and a ginger-and-pepper combination.

Keep in mind: “curcuminoids” should not be relabelled as “curcumin”. A larger declared amount alone does not demonstrate a better result. See Purolabs’ label and purchase options.

4. DRV+ Curcumin & Turmeric — one capsule a day

Formerly DR.VEGAN, DRV+ combines 300mg whole turmeric root with 300mg of a 10:1 extract. Its nutrition table declares 200mg curcumin, plus 50mg ginger and 10mg black pepper per capsule.

Consider it if: taking one capsule a day is a practical priority. Its single pouch is sold as a 30-day supply.

Keep in mind: the 3,300mg headline represents combined root equivalent, not 3,300mg of extract inside the capsule. Read the DRV+ nutrition table.

5. FutureYou Turmeric+ Gold — a different delivery format

FutureYou uses the Meriva curcuma phospholipid complex with sunflower lecithin. Each capsule provides 100mg curcumin within 300mg of the complex, plus 20mg vitamin C and 5 micrograms vitamin D3.

Consider it if: you are specifically comparing phospholipid formulations with added vitamins.

Keep in mind: its 28-capsule pack lasts 14–28 days at the stated one-to-two-capsule directions. Budget for the portion you actually follow. Review FutureYou’s formula and directions.

Common questions

Which is the best turmeric supplement in the UK?

There is no single winner established by this comparison. Choose a formula that matches your requirements, then check suitability, directions and total cost. These five products illustrate different buying choices; they are not a complete market survey.

Does the highest milligram number mean the strongest product?

Not by itself. First identify what the number measures and the serving it refers to. Do not treat a root-equivalent figure as the actual quantity of extract.

Should I choose a supplement to treat a health condition?

This guide compares purchases, not treatments. Ask a pharmacist or other healthcare professional about suitability if you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding. Follow the current product label.

How to read a supplement label before you buy

A clear guide to ingredients, serving sizes and the details that help you compare supplements.

Read the guide →

A product name tells you where to start. The label gives you the detail you need to decide. Before comparing two supplements, put their ingredients and recommended serving sizes side by side.

Start with the full ingredient list

Look beyond the ingredient named on the front. A formula can contain several active ingredients, plus capsule materials and other ingredients used to make it. Check the full list against your dietary needs and any allergies. If a detail is missing, ask the brand before ordering.

Compare like with like

Check whether the quantities shown are for one capsule, two capsules or the recommended daily serving. A larger number on the front does not automatically mean more of the ingredient in each capsule. Units matter too: 1,000 micrograms equal 1 milligram. Keep the serving size and unit the same when making a comparison.

Separate pack size from serving size

The number of capsules in a tub is the pack size. The directions tell you how many to take. For example, a hypothetical 60-capsule pack taken at two capsules a day would provide 30 daily servings. That example is a calculation, not a dose recommendation: follow the directions for the actual product.

Check the directions and suitability

Read the recommended daily amount, warnings and storage instructions before using a supplement. Do not exceed the stated dose. If you take medicines, have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, discuss a new supplement with a healthcare professional. Supplements complement a varied diet; they do not replace it. Read the UK government's food supplement guidance.

Keep your comparison simple

Write down the ingredient amount per serving, the serving size, the number of servings and the price. Then note any unanswered questions. This gives you a clearer basis for choosing than comparing pack prices alone.

B-complex and B12: what is the difference?

B12 is one B vitamin. B-complex brings several together. Here is how to compare the two without the guesswork.

Read the guide →

B12 is one member of the B-vitamin family. A B-complex supplement combines several B vitamins in one formula. The names can sound interchangeable, but they describe different products.

What are B vitamins?

The family includes thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, biotin, folate and B12. They have different roles in the body. For example, B12 is involved in red blood cell production and normal nervous system function. A varied diet supplies many B vitamins, while people eating a vegan diet need to pay particular attention to B12 sources. The NHS explains each B vitamin and its dietary sources.

What does “B-complex” tell you?

It tells you that the product contains a combination. It does not tell you the amount of each vitamin or guarantee that every B vitamin is included. Read the ingredient list and nutrition information for the specific formula. Compare amounts per recommended serving rather than relying on the product name.

Is a combination always the better choice?

Start with why you are considering a supplement. A combination and a single-vitamin product serve different shopping needs; a longer ingredient list is not a reason on its own to choose one. If a healthcare professional has recommended a particular nutrient or dose, use that advice when comparing products.

Check for overlapping ingredients

If you already take a multivitamin or another supplement, check whether it contains the same B vitamins. The NHS advises against taking more than 10mg of vitamin B6 daily in supplements unless a doctor advises it. More is not always better. Ask a pharmacist or other healthcare professional if you are unsure about combining products.
